Jim Burke is currently running for Stroudsburg School Board. Jim has lived in Stroudsburg since 2003. He has taught public school students in nearly every grade level. Jim has taught in Bangor Area School District for the last decade and currently serves as the gifted case manager for the Bangor elementary schools. Prior to becoming a teacher, Jim worked in non-profit management and holds a Masters degree in Public Administration. Jim and his wife, Jessica DePete, have two daughters, Delaney and Lila, in the Stroudsburg schools. Jim envisions a dynamic public education system for all students that provides opportunities to gain the necessary skills to be successful and productive citizens.

Mark Lichty is a former CEO of Bustin Industries in East Stroudsburg. He is a political activist and producer of the documentary "Groundswell Rising"
